The following videos will show you how online learning works.  There are many different types of online learning platforms.  You will also learn what to expect from an online course.

e-Channel Guided Tour
This link will give you option to play a Flash video that shows you guided tour of the e-Channel virtual classroom using the Centra platform.  It describes the features of the classroom, and you’ll be able to see them in action in a previously recorded session.

Moodle course example
This link will launch a YouTube video in a new browser window.  Moodle is an online learning platform that a lot of institutions use.  This video describes a basic distance education course created with Moodle.

 Ryerson - Online Learning with Blackboard
This link will launch a new browser window and play a video about learning online with the Blackboard platform.  The video will talk about how to access courses, course materials, as well as assignments and exams.  You can also read about Blackboard’s tools and features.

Humber College  - Online Learning with Blackboard
This demo course will show you commonly used functions that you will use while registered in an online course that uses FirstClass learning system.

Interactive X-ray Self Assessment
This tool allows physical therapists to test the knowledge they have just acquired. It is an interactive self-assessment measure which is very easy to use.

Matching Terms
This tool gives the student a way of testing their knowledge of key terms in an accounting course.
