The Ontario Institute of PMAC has introduced a new program aimed at intermediate level procurement and supply chain professionals.
The Diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain Management was developed based on the market need for skilled professionals at the intermediate level. This program covers all the necessary requirements, including finance, negotiation, contract law and strategic sourcing, that a procurement professional needs to build a successful career.
Diploma Seminars(2-day seminars located in various cities): Participants are required to complete 5 of the 6 following seminars.
* Negotiation Strategies for SCM
* Competitive Bidding and the Tendering Process
* Transportation Services
* Inventory Management
* Purchasing Process and Practice
* Supplier Sourcing and Management
Workshop and Case Study: The Diploma program will culminate in a 3-day workshop. With a focus on ethical procurement practices, this workshop will summarize and implement the key learning points obtained through the program.
*NOTE: OIPMAC membership is mandatory to complete the program and be eligible for the Diploma. Membership is $380.00 + HST and is valid for one year from the first of the month in which dues are received by the OIPMAC. Dues are non-refundable and non-transferable. You must read and sign the declaration to obtain membership with the OIPMAC.
