Confederation College

Confederation College is one of two colleges servicing Northwestern Ontario; the main campus is located in Thunder Bay. The college's Center for Continuing Education offers both full-time and part-time programs and courses in a variety of formats.

Confederation offers more than 50 post-secondary diploma and certificate programs in a wide range of fields:

Academic advisement involves helping students to select specific programs or courses and to develop plans to help a student achieve their potential in school.

The counselling department utilizes a number of interest, value, personality and work styles inventories which help in career exploration.

The Paterson Library Commons provides expertise and access to research resources, equipment and study facilities.

Confederation College PLAR
Candidates are permitted to obtain a maximum of 75% of credits in a program through prior learning assessment and recognition and/or transfer credits.

Confederation College Supports and Services (Indigenous)
An Aboriginal Student Counselor is available to provide or make referrals for counseling, help with funding and sponsorship, career information and referrals to support agencies in the community.

Student Union of Confederation College Inc.
Services include special events, activities, student employment, health plan, campus recreation and varsity athletics.
