Loyalist College

Loyalist College is located in Belleville, Ontario, along the shores of the Bay of Quinte. They offer a unique combination of career-oriented programs. Their faculty members are professionals who combine practical experience in their fields with academic achievement.

Loyalist offers learning for life with over 50 full-time programs, part-time learning, continuing education and distance education. Distance/Continuing education programs available include:

  • Canadian Payroll Association Certified Payroll Manager Program
  • Diploma in Military Arts & Sciences
  • Early Childhood Education Diploma - Distance
  • Geographic Information Systems
  • Geriatric Studies Certificate Program
  • Health Records Clerk Certificate

  • Supply Chain and Logistics Management Post Diploma

Loyalist’s placement rate for its graduates is consistently one of the highest for an Ontario college, and a recent survey shows that 97% of their students would recommend the college to a friend.

Student Success Mentors guide students to develop educational plans which support their life and, in collaboration with other college resources, assist students in identifying options for success.

Loyalist College PLAR
Applicants with work experiences or other types of non-credentialed learning may be eligible for credits at Loyalist. Graded credits (as opposed to exemptions) are granted.

Loyalist College Aboriginal Resource Centre
Many Aboriginal students find the adjustment to college a difficult process. This transition is made easier through the friendship, assistance and services provided by the Aboriginal Resource Centre.

Loyalist Student Government
Offering academic assistance, bursaries, grad photos, student spaces and more.

Loyalist College Tutoring
The Coordinator of the Peer Tutoring and Academic Skills Centre will search for an appropriate tutor who will provide study time and assistance.
