St. Lawrence College

St. Lawrence College (SLC) is a College of Applied Arts and Technology. It has three campuses in small to mid-sized cities in Eastern Ontario which include Brockville, Cornwall and Kingston.

With campuses stretching along the St. Lawrence River from Lake Ontario to Quebec, the college offers a comprehensive portfolio of more than 80 programs to approximately 6,000 full-time students annually.

St. Lawrence offers something for all learners, from career upgrading with business, health and computer courses, to general interest courses in art, photography or languages.

The PLAR process at St. Lawrence is designed to assist adult learners in identifying, describing, and demonstrating past learning which may be eligible for advanced standing or course credits towards the certificate or diploma of their choice.

St. Lawrence College Student Association – Kingston
Produces the Student Voice News – the student run and operated campus news and information source. Also gives students access to a copy centre, games room, student lounge, computer lab.

St. Lawrence College Student Administrative Council – Brockville
Representing the students' interests at the college, local, provincial, and national levels. Additionally, they act as advisors and committee members for student complaints and academic appeals, whether the issue is the price of books or parking, level of funding from the provincial government, or bus service in the Intramural Sports.
