“Online learning came at a perfect time for me”
After losing her job, Colleen* embarked on an entirely new career path with support from Contact North | Contact Nord.

Q. What brought you to Contact North?
A. I had lost my job due to a store closure and wanted to explore other avenues of employment. Trying to figure out a completely different career was pretty challenging and I did a lot of soul searching.

Q. Where are you at in your learning journey?
A. I’m a licensed mortgage agent and am working at a brokerage with a great team.

Q. How would you describe online learning?
A. Online learning came at a perfect time for me. Once gaining access, there were so many free courses in just about ANY subject you are interested in — very easy to use and a wealth of information. I am currently brushing up on my typing skills and taking an Excel course through Gale Courses.

Q. How would you describe the service you had from Contact North | Contact Nord?
A. Amazing service and EVERYONE I spoke to was so helpful and patient!

Q. What would you say to others to encourage them to use our services?
A. Don’t hesitate! Contact North really did help me narrow down my choices as well as having access to fun stuff like Creativebug — great for those who want to learn a craft. The Gale courses that are offered are great. So much to learn and explore at your own pace.
